Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Dispatch & Delivery Timelines

At Global Invert Transport Limited, we strive to deliver your container fleet efficiently. All orders are processed and scheduled for dispatch within **5 working days from receipt of cleared payment** in our bank account.

Actual transit times depend on the delivery location, custom border clearances (where applicable), and transport method. Estimated delivery schedules will be provided during quotation.

2. Delivery Logistics & Options

We utilize a specialized network of heavy-duty transport vehicles to accommodate your delivery site:

• Flatbed / Step-Deck Trailers: Standard transit method. Requires client to have a crane, container handler, or heavy forklift at the destination site to lift the container off the truck.
• Tilt-Bed / Roll-Off Trucks: The truck slides the container off the back, dropping it directly onto the ground. Ideal if you do not have offloading machinery on site.
• Crane Trucks (Hiab): Trucks equipped with an onboard crane to lift and place the container. Best for tight spaces or precise placement.
• Self-Collection: Customers can arrange their own flatbed transport. Collection must be scheduled 24 hours in advance at our depot in Livingstone, Zambia.

3. Site Access & Offloading Responsibility

It is the client's sole responsibility to ensure that the delivery location is accessible to large heavy vehicles.

4. Regional Coverage & Cross-Border Delivery

We support container distribution across the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region:

Our primary shipping routes include Zambia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, Malawi, and Angola. Custom clearings, import duties, and local taxes are detailed separately in your commercial proforma invoice.

5. Delivery Fees

Standard containers carry a flat-rate shipping fee (typically **$250** for standard routes). Modified containers, custom kitchen trailers, and remote cross-border deliveries will be subject to a custom logistics quote.
